Green Lantern Costume – This costume comes from some very lengthy lineage. The Green Lantern first emerged in 1940 and was created by writer Bill Finger and artist Martin Nodell.
Since those days there have been many Green Lanterns but the basic ideas remain. The 2011 movie which featured Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern centers around the character being a cocky test-pilot and being chosen by “the ring” The ring is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. The ring is powered by will-power. So the story goes about good and evil and how the Green Lantern has to fight Parallax, who feeds on fear, in order to save mankind. Wheww…no wonder kids love him!
