Mad Hatter Costumes – One of Alice In Wonderland’s main and very visible characters, which everyone has grown so fond of.
In Tim Burton’s version, the mad hatter had a human quality that was not present in the original version. This was in part thanks to Johnny Depp. He was trying to achieve that; trying to find a grounding for the Mad Hatter. He accomplished his goal. It made him more likable. The film grossed over $1 billion dollars throughout the world. This would explain the popularity of the characters for Halloween. Many people saw the movie, rediscovered the story and for many kids, it was an introduction to the story.
